Product Description
Dr. Neubauer COMBINATION EFFECT offers playing characteristics for which combination bat players have been waiting a long time. This exclusive special development from the renowned blade expert Achim Rendler has been created to offer different speed values on the two sides of the blade by the use of a unique plywood composition. Dr. Neubauer COMBINATION EFFECT: The new weapon for combination bat players Like all other blades in our product range COMBINATION EFFECT is available with all three handle types (straight, flared and anatomic).
One side has a low rebound coefficient, so that the ball is slowed down. This allows returning short over the net, with a maximum spin reversal when blocking with frictionless long pimples. The trajectory is very low in order to prevent the opponent from immediately attacking it. At the same time even float balls can be attacked with frictionless long pimples through aggressive pushing and counter-attacking.
The other side is faster so that the ball can be attacked forcefully by the use of offensive rubbers. COMBINATION EFFECT also offers the same outstanding control as our renowned Dr. Neubauer SPECIAL blade.

Amazing.
They say you get what you pay for.
Couldn't be more true for this blade.
Astonishing control and hits.
Forehand can block superbly, chop push and loop more than decently.
Backhand is a little slower allowing for killer chop-blocks and flicks with
an aggressive long pimple.
I use it with a Dr N special defence 1.5 on the forehand and a Dr N
fighter 1.2 on the backhand.
And yes, the sound is super too!

Fantastic Feel and power but you can block and chop

I have used my Combo effect for 2 weeks now and I am still extremely happy I paid the huge asking price. It is worth it trust me. I have purchased about 8 blades looking for the best blade for a modern defender, well this is it. It has a great soft balsa feel to it and has the greatest sound you can imagine. People think I have glued up but haven't, it just sounds like it. It is a bit faster on the forehand than my Firewall + I used to use but it is about 15% slower on the backhand which I use aggressive Long pimples with sponge. You can hot block and chop very well with the BH and the forehand I can loop hard and chop nice spiny shots with it. It may be fast compared to defensive blades but for a modern defender it is super.
